1. How do I add my lost pet’s name and
description to the database?
If you've lost your pet and you want to add it's name and description—along
with your own contact information—to CanadaStrays.com,
you can do so by filling in three (3) short forms, online. Once
completed, this information will be made available immediately for
visitors to see. It's always a good idea to check the list
of lost or stray pets first, to make sure the animal's information
hasn't already been added by someone who may have found your pet.

2. How long will my pet’s ad stay on CanadaStrays.com?
Any information you post to this Web site will be displayed for
a 1-year period (365 days) only, or until you choose to delete it.
If you wish to remove an ad, you need to enter your e-mail address
on the Remove Pet from List
page, where you will then receive an e-mail with a link to delete
your entry. CanadaStrays.com uses this “delete
by e-mail” method in order to prevent any malicious deletion
of your animal's information by a third party.

4. How do I add—or replace—a picture
of my pet to its listing on CanadaStrays.com?
If you wish to add a picture of your pet or stray, or replace an
existing one, send your image to webmaster@canadastrays.com
along with your pet's ID number, which can be found on its listing.
If you only have a hard copy photograph of your pet and would like
us to scan this to obtain an electronic version, you can mail the
photo, making sure to include the CanadaStrays.com ID number for
the animal, to:

5. I found a stray animal. What can I do?
If you've found a stray, you can add it's name, description, and
your own contact information to the CanadaStrays.com database.
Hopefully, the animal's owner will see this information and will
then know how to contact you. It's always a good idea to check the
list of lost or stray pets first,
to make sure the animal's information hasn't already been added
by its owner.

You need to enter your e-mail address (the one you used when adding

10. Can I sell animals on this Web
site?
Under no circumstances will you be allowed to sell animals on this
Web site. CanadaStrays.com reserves the right to
delete listings deemed to be for the purpose of making profit on
the sale of kittens, puppies and/or any other type of animal.

11. How can I edit my pet's information?
Every time a pet's information is added to CanadaStrays.com,
an automated confirmation message is sent to the e-mail address
you supplied when posting the ad. In this message you'll find a
link, which can be used to edit the information about your pet,
or stray.
If you didn't receive a confirmation e-mail, or have accidently
deleted it from your computer, please contact
the Webmaster with the e-mail address you used when posting
your ad. It's possible that the e-mail address you entered was misspelled
and, therefore, never reached the intended recipient.
